Team Shuffler

Drop in names, split into fair random teams (or just shuffle the order).

Split a group fairly

Type in everyone's names — press Enter after each one — then choose 2 or 3 teams. Quibzo shuffles the whole list and divides people as evenly as possible, so if the numbers don't split cleanly the extra player just lands on one side. Only need a running order rather than teams? Tap Shuffle order for a randomised lineup you can read top to bottom. Add or remove names anytime and reshuffle as often as you like until it feels right.

No more "you always pick him first"

The old playground method — two captains taking turns — is slow and, worse, it stings to be picked last. Letting an impartial shuffle do it skips the egos entirely: because the draw is genuinely random, nobody can claim the teams were stacked, and there's no captain to resent. It's perfect for pickup sports, five-a-side, board and card games, classroom group projects, splitting chores between housemates, secret-gift draws, or deciding turn order for anything. For larger groups, make three teams and merge or split from there; for a quick one-versus-one ladder, shuffle the order and pair people off down the list.

Because everything happens in your browser, the names you type are never saved or sent anywhere — refresh the page and the list is gone. Picking a single winner instead of building teams? Spin the Wheel or pull a random number. Planning what the group does next? Try Bored? What to Do.

Frequently asked questions

Are the teams really fair?
Yes. Names are shuffled randomly and split as evenly as possible, so nobody can claim the teams were rigged.

How many teams can I make?
Two or three with one tap, or use Shuffle order for a random lineup. Reshuffle as often as you like.

Does it save the names I enter?
No. Names live only in your browser for this session and are never stored or sent anywhere — refresh and the list is gone.
